Kizuki's Suicide
It's pretty obvious that both Naoko and Toru were both deeply affected by Kizuki's suicide but so far Toru has avoided talking about it. In the novel he focuses so much time describing his relationships with other characters and he even talks in detail about characters that play a much smaller role in his life (like storm trooper) so it seems weird. Do you think he'll finally get to talking about Kizuki or that he'll just avoid the subject throughout the novel?

I think Toru will talk more about Kizuki's suicide as the story goes along... because for him to just mention it and not relate back to it would be really weird and would make the mentioning of the suicide completely pointless.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I kind of hope he does talk about it because it's pretty obvious that it made a big impact on his life. He could easily ignore the subject aside from what he's mentioned of it before like many people do in real life with painful things like the death of a loved on though.
